Johanny Adames is the communications director at Latino Victory. In her role, she oversees media, brand and donor communications. A bilingual political communications strategist, Johanny served as the first national spokesperson for Latino media at Planned Parenthood Federation of America and Planned Parenthood Action Fund. Johanny led Planned Parenthood’s communications for Latino audiences and was a leading strategist for the organization’s Hispanic-Latino engagement.

Prior to joining Planned Parenthood, Johanny held several positions at GMMB, an issue-advocacy communications firm in Washington, DC. While pursuing her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida, Johanny served as a media affairs intern in the Obama White House. Her media appearances include Univision, CNN en español, NoticiasYa and Telemundo, and has been featured on Popsugar, Al Día News, Mitú, EFE and La Opinión.
