(Washington, D.C.)- Today the Supreme Court decided to uphold a key provision in the Affordable Care Act that will allow millions of Americans to keep their health insurance. Cristóbal Alex, President of Latino Victory Project, released the following statement:
“Today is a victory. It is a victory not just for civil rights champions and health care advocates, but also for the 4.2 million Latino families who have gained access to affordable health care through the government subsidies provided by the Affordable Care Act. Today, we are proud to see that our Justices have recognized the importance of this law and the benefits it provides to millions of Americans and their families across the country.”
