Latino Victory Fund Board Chair Cristóbal Alex Appointed by DNC Chair Ken Martin to Serve on the Rules and Bylaws Committee

The committee approves rules governing the Democratic presidential primary and caucus process.

Washington, D.C— Today, Latino Victory Fund congratulated its Board Chair, Cristóbal J. Alex, on his appointment by Chair Ken Martin to serve on the Democratic National Committee’s influential Rules and Bylaws Committee.

The DNC’s Rules and Bylaws Committee creates and approves the rules that govern the Democratic presidential primary and caucus process. This includes the state primaries and caucus order and timing, criteria for debates, candidate eligibility and the rules for the Democratic National Convention, among other tasks.
