Latino Victory Fund Interim President Melissa Mark Viverito issued the following statement on the San Antonio City Council election results:
“Latino Victory Fund congratulates Councilwoman Ana Sandoval and Councilman Roberto Treviño on their victories tonight. San Antonians made it abundantly clear that this election they want leaders who will fight for them at City Hall, and that’s why they voted to re-elect Ana Sandoval and Roberto Treviño to the San Antonio City Council. Latino Victory Fund was proud to endorse them because they are the best candidates who continue to deliver real results for the people of San Antonio.”
This was the first time Latino Victory Fund endorsed city council candidates in San Antonio.
