Latino Victory Fund Endorses Carlos Garcia for Phoenix City Council

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Latino Victory Fund endorsed Carlos Garcia for Phoenix City Council District 8. If elected, Carlos Garcia will be the first Mexican immigrant elected to this position.

Latino Victory Interim President Melissa Mark-Viverito issued the following statement on Carlos Garcia’s endorsement:

“Carlos Garcia has been on the frontline fighting for our community against anti-immigrant policies in Arizona for over a decade. He has been a relentless advocate for social justice and continues to uplift the voices of the most vulnerable. Latino Victory Fund is proud to stand with Carlos because he’s the best candidate to represent District 8.”
