Washington, D.C. –Latino Victory Fund announced the endorsement of down-ballot candidates in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada and New Mexico, all states with key Latino eligible voter populations.
The candidates are Felicia French, Arizona Senate, District 06; Dr. Felipe Perez, Arizona House of Representatives, District 11; Lorenzo Sierra, Arizona House of Representatives, District 19; Raquel Terán, Arizona House of Representatives, District 30; Adelita Grijalva, Pima County Board of Supervisors, 5th District; Brianna Buentello, Colorado House of Representatives, District 47; Linda Serrato, New Mexico House of Representatives, District 45; Wendy Jauregui-Jackins, Nevada State Senate District 15; and Daniel Corona, mayor of West Wendover in Nevada.

Brianna Buentello, Colorado House of Representatives, District 47
- Buentello is running for re-election. As the representative for HD-47, she is the vice-chair of the House Education Committee and member of the Rural Affairs Committee. Her focus in the legislature includes education, agriculture, transportation, and health care.
Felicia French, Arizona State Senate, District 06
- If French wins, she would flip the 6th Senate District from Republican to Democratic. She is a nurse, educator, MedEvac helicopter pilot, a single mom, and a retired U.S. Army Colonel with 32 years of military service. She is an Afghan War veteran. Democrats need to win just three senate seats in order to flip the Senate.
Dr. Felipe Perez, Arizona House of Representatives, District 11
- If Dr. Perez wins, he would be the first Latino and Democrat elected to represent District 11. His top issues include access to high-quality health care, job security and a strong economy, and providing a Covid-19 recovery plan.
Raquel Terán, Arizona House of Representatives, District 30
- Teran was the first Latina elected to represent District 30. For the past 14 years, Teran has been an active community advocate for civil, labor, immigrant, and women’s reproductive rights, and health care access.
Lorenzo Sierra, Arizona House of Representatives, District 19
- Sierra was first elected in 2018. His top priorities include investing in high quality public education, growing the economy by providing jobs and small business growth, and providing access to affordable healthcare.
Adelita Grijalva, Arizona, Pima County Board of Supervisors, 5th District
- Grijalva is a five-term member of the TUSD School Board. She is currently a member of the TUSD School Board, and she is running to fight for affordable housing and strong job creation.
Linda Serrato, New Mexico House of Representatives, District 45
- If Serrato wins, she would be the youngest person elected to represent District 45 in the New Mexico House of Representatives. Her priority issues include economic protections for working families, combating climate change and reducing our reliance on oil and gas, and investing in infrastructure like broadband and education
Wendy Jauregui-Jackins, Nevada State Senate District 15
- If Jauregui-Jackins wins, she would be the first Latina to represent Senate District 15, and the Nevada Senate would give the Democratic Party the supermajority. Her top priority issues include public education, access to quality, affordable health care and housing.
Daniel Corona, Mayor, West Wendover.
- Corona made history in 2016 when he became the first Latino elected Mayor in West Wendover and the first openly LGTBQ Mayor in the state of Nevada history. His top priorities are health care, housing and economic diversification.
