Meet the Candidate: A Champion for Justice and Equity
Dr. Victoria Garcia Wilburn has built her career around service to her community. An associate professor at Indiana State University, she is a community-engaged researcher dedicated to solving central Indiana’s pressing issues, with a particular focus on justice. First elected to the Indiana House of Representatives in 2022, she has worked tirelessly to pass groundbreaking legislation, including Public Law 139, which provides mental health and resiliency training to public safety professionals statewide.
Her platform focuses on passing common-sense gun laws, improving access to quality education and healthcare, and investing in small businesses while creating union jobs.
