Double Milestone: Guzmán, the first Latina elected to the Virginia General Assembly, will now vie for a seat that could make her the first Latina in Virginia elected to Congress
Washington, D.C.—Latino Victory Fund announced the endorsement of Elizabeth Guzmán for Virginia’s 7th Congressional District. Guzmán would be the first Latina in Virginia elected to Congress. This endorsement comes as part of Latino Victory’s “First Latinas” program, which aims to increase Latina representation at all levels of government.
