Latino Victory Fund Endorses Kamala Harris for President of the United States

Washington, D.C.—Latino Victory Fund announced the endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris for President of the United  States. Latino Victory Chairman Luis A. Miranda, Jr., and President Sindy M. Benavides issued the following statement:

Statement from Luis A. Miranda, Jr., Latino Victory Board Chairman:

“Today, President Biden made a historically selfless decision to put our country before his political career. No one can take away from the historic accomplishments of the Biden-Harris Administration, including record unemployment, reducing the cost of healthcare, and actions to keep American families together. Latino Victory Fund previously endorsed Vice President Harris for VP, and we look forward to continue working closely with her to ensure Latino voices are reflected in government, and that our issues continue to be prioritized in the 2024 Presidential Campaign. The time to choose a strong, battle-tested Democratic candidate is now—and we urge Democrats and Latino delegates to unite and rally around Vice President Harris for President.”

Statement from Sindy M. Benavides, Latino Victory President & CEO:

“Latino Victory Fund is proud to announce the endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris for President of the United States. Vice President Harris represents the best of our American values, as the daughter of immigrants who shattered a glass ceiling for women. She has a stellar public service record and is a no-nonsense and effective leader ready to lead on day one. Vice President Harris supports issues that strengthen the Latino community and she has our full support as a champion and ally to Latinos. She fought to save the Affordable Care Act and environmental protections as Attorney General and supported policies to help working families have more opportunities when she served in the U.S. Senate. As vice president, she led an administration’s policies that expanded healthcare access and is leading the fight to protect reproductive and women’s rights. She’s the right candidate who is qualified and up for the job. Vice President Harris listens to the Latino community, she cares about us and will continue to have our backs.”
