“Senator Harris exemplified the leadership that our country is yearning for in these tumultuous times, one guided by facts, stability, and compassion. Our country’s economy, civil rights, health, and environment are under attack by the Trump-Pence administration, and the debate shed light on the dire need for new leadership in the White House. Senator Harris made a powerful case to elect the Biden-Harris ticket, including plans to help Americans overcome the Covid-19 crisis, create jobs, boost the economy, protect and expand health care access, and combat climate change.
“For millions of immigrants, daughters, and sons of immigrants, and for the Black and South Asian communities, Senator Harris’ historic presence in the vice-presidential debate was a reassurance that we can still save the soul of our nation.”
