WASHINGTON – Today, Latino Victory Fund reiterated its support for Mario Castillo after he advanced to the runoff election in the race for Houston City Council District H.
Castillo has previously served as Chief of Staff to outgoing Houston City Councilmember Karla Cisneros in District H and currently serves as Executive Director of Your Houston, a nonprofit that improves the quality of life for Houstonians. If elected, he will become the first out LGBTQ+ person to represent Houston’s District H.

Castillo is a dedicated advocate and throughout his career, has fought to improve the lives of all Houstonians. If elected, he will focus on ensuring District H has the resources necessary to thrive, supporting small businesses, ensuring neighborhoods are safe and affordable, and expanding affordable health care.
