Washington, D.C. — Today, the Supreme Court announced it will consider the case to repeal the Affordable Care Act. The Supreme Court will hear the case in October, and issue the ruling in the summer of 2021. Latino Victory Fund released the following statement:
“The Supreme Court has the well-being of millions of Americans in its hands. When they issue this consequential ruling, they must choose either to uphold a law that has saved lives and provided healthcare for millions or side with Trump’s pattern of cruelty politics.
“Trump and the Republicans have no plan to provide healthcare access for our families once they fulfill their disastrous plan to ax Obamacare. The stakes are even higher in the 2020 election as we choose between candidates who will fight to protect our healthcare access or those who want to destroy it. There is no gray area on the ballot when it comes to providing access to healthcare –Democrats have our backs, and Republicans don’t. If Trump wins in November, we will lose.”
