Latino Victory Project Proudly Welcomes Nathalie Rayes as New President and CEO

Washington, D.C. — Latino Victory Project today announced that Nathalie Rayes has been named president and CEO of the organization. 

 After months of an extensive search for the president and CEO, the Latino Victory Project board welcomes Rayes, who brings more than 20 years of experience in public affairs, politics, government, and philanthropy. Rayes previously served on the Latino Victory Project Board of Directors and was instrumental in boosting the organization’s political and fundraising profile during her tenure.

Miranda, Latino Victory Board chairman. “Throughout her career, Nathalie has worked tirelessly to empower the Latino community and help foster social change for the betterment of our people and our country. She will bring an unparalleled vision and experience that will move Latino Victory into its next phase of building Latino political power.” 

“Together, we have helped to elect the first Latina to the U.S. Senate, the first Latina Congresswoman from Texas and the first Latina Democratic Governor in our Country’s history among many other notable victories. Muñoz III, Latino Victory co-founders. “To continue that progress, we are honored to welcome Nathalie Rayes as the new CEO and first Latina CEO of Latino Victory. Nathalie’s experience, philanthropic leadership, and passion for our community will move Latino Victory forward through this important moment toward the bright future we envisioned years ago.”

Rayes was previously vice president of public affairs for Grupo Salinas in the U.S. Previously, Rayes served as Los Angeles Mayor James K. Hahn deputy chief of staff, and before that, she was senior policy advisor to Los Angeles Councilmember Mike Feuer. She also served as a Department of State Fellow in the Economic/Political Section of the United States Embassy in Cairo, Egypt. Rayes currently serves as a United States Presidential appointee to the Board of Trustees of the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars, as the chair of the Board of Directors of the Hispanic Federation, as well as chair of the National Advisory Group for Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE) Binational Fellowship, and member of the Board of Directors of Planned Parenthood Action Fund and the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI).
