Washington—Today, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments on the lawsuit Texas v. United States, which has temporarily blocked implementation of expanded DACA and DAPA.
Cristobal J. Alex, President of Latino Victory Project, said:
“Today thousands of people rallied in front of the Supreme Court in support of the President’s executive actions on immigration. We stand with immigrant families and behind President Obama’s immigration initiatives.
“President Obama acted within the law and followed the lead of many past presidents before him who used their authority to establish immigration priorities. It is time for us to unfreeze and implement DAPA and expanded DACA, for the well-being of our families, our country and our economy.”
