“Republicans made clear what we suspected all along, TrumpCare will cost Americans more money for their health care while providing them fewer benefits. This irresponsible bill will cause millions of Americans to lose their healthcare coverage, including millions of Latinos. Let’s remember that Latino uninsured rates dropped dramatically thanks to the Affordable Care Act and now Republicans want to take that progress away.
“Republicans are using TrumpCare to cut taxes on the very wealthy, making average Americans pay more taxes. This bill will raise premiums and costs on older Americans and will no longer make it possible for millions of Americans with pre-existing conditions to get affordable healthcare. It’s also clear that TrumpCare will hurt millions of women and Latinas specifically who rely on preventative healthcare from Planned Parenthood.”
