Latino Victory Celebrates Nine Years of Building Latino Political Power

WASHINGTON – This month, Latino Victory celebrates its ninth anniversary and reflects on its efforts to grow Latino representation and harness Latino power at all levels of the political process.

Latino Victory Board Chairperson  Luis A. Miranda, Jr. released the following statement:

“Since 2014, Latino Victory has led the charge in growing Latino political power across the United States. Throughout our nine-year history, we have adapted to the ever-changing political climate and grown stronger because of the leaders, trailblazers, and committed Latinos who share our vision. Latino Victory remains dedicated to empowering Latino voices on the ballot and at the ballot box, building a bench of Latino candidates and leaders, and intersecting the national cultural and political landscapes.

“Latino Victory has mobilized Latino voters in two presidential elections, elevated our community’s voice in issues that impact our community, and through the Latino Victory Fund, recruited and helped elect nearly 170 Latino candidates, many of whom were barrier-breaking “firsts.” As we head into the 2024 election, we renew our commitment and vision for the Latino community to increase political representation and create a stronger, more inclusive democracy.”
