WASHINGTON – Today, Latino Victory Fund endorsed Chris Falcon for Clerk of Fairfax Circuit Court. Latino Victory Fund Executive Director Sindy Benavides released the following statement:
“Latino Victory Fund is proud to endorse Chris Falcon for his campaign as the next Clerk of Fairfax Circuit Court. Chris will focus on modernizing systems and will help bridge the technological gap between residents of Fairfax County and the Circuit Court. As the son of Peruvian and Ecuadorian immigrants, Chris has a deep understanding of the Latino community in Virginia and was previously appointed by Governor McAuliffe to the Virginia Latino Advisory Board, where Chris served as Vice-Chair.
“Chris understands the importance of equitable access to the judicial system and brings the track record to prove it. As Deputy Clerk of the Arlington County Circuit Court, Chris helped expand constituent engagement with the court. He also mitigated barriers to legal access for those he served, such as transportation and taking time off of work. Chris’s campaign exemplifies a commitment to the residents of Fairfax that prioritizes efficiency, customer service, and access to public case information. Latino Victory has no doubt Chris Falcon is the champion Fairfax County needs as their next Clerk of Circuit Court.”
