Influential national organization announces support for an initial slate of 7 Members of Congress
WASHINGTON – Today, Latino Victory Fund, the most influential national organization helping to build political power within the Latino community at every level of government, endorsed 7 Latino Members of Congress as part of the organization’s “Our Champions” incumbent protection program. This effort focuses on preserving the progress made by the organization in helping to elect members of Congress across the country. As part of the initiative, Latino Victory will invest resources in helping to re-elect these members by raising funds, recruiting volunteers, and educating and mobilizing voters in key districts.
The initiative was launched by Latino Victory in 2019 and it’s been renewed as the organization gears up to play a pivotal role in the 2024 Presidential Election and campaigns across every swing state.
The following initial slate of champions will be supported by Latino Victory as part of the program:

- U.S. Rep. Jimmy Gomez
- U.S. Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez
- U.S. Rep. Mike Levin
- U.S. Rep. Delia Ramirez
- U.S. Rep. Andrea Salinas
- U.S. Rep. Gabe Vasquez

Rep. Yadira Caraveo
“Congresswoman Caraveo is a respected community leader raised in an immigrant family driven by the value of hard work and altruism. As a pediatrician and state legislator, Congresswoman Caraveo fought for her community, with legislative wins that included lowering prescription drug costs, expanding funding for preschool, and limiting toxic pollution. The people of Colorado knew they were sending a true and tried leader to Congress in 2022, and Latino Victory Fund is proud to endorse her to ensure she is reelected.”
Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez
“As a small-business owner and mother, Congresswoman Gluesenkamp-Perez knows first-hand the challenges working families face to secure health care, affordable childcare, and a living wage. Her first-hand experience inspired her to run for Congress to fight for more economic opportunity and to ensure families in her district have access to low-cost health care. As a member of Congress, her priorities are those that matter to Latinos—supporting workers’ rights, lowering health care and prescription drugs, and addressing the cost of day-to-day items the average American needs—the cost of food, gas, and rent. “Our Champions” was originally launched in 2019 as a first-of-its-kind program. Since then, Latino Victory has used “Our Champions” and other initiatives to help progressive elected officials organize toward victory.
